In 2017, I completed my 4th year serving on the honorary board of the Special Olympics of Georgia and have now moved up to serve on the “big” board for the next three years. I feel a special alignment with the purpose and mission of SOGA, given that I have a precious new step-daughter who is Downs Syndrome. Special Olympics provides such a great opportunity for year-round training and sports competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, allowing them to develop skills that help them to build the confidence and camaraderie that benefit them throughout their lives.
I truly believe in the inclusion mission of Special Olympics and in the 27,115 Special Olympics Georgia athletes! I am excited to have you join me on my journey, please click on the "donate today" tab above to help bring out the champion in everyone!
